Meet the SIMAGIC TB-NEO: The New Modular Sim Racing Handbrake

SIMAGIC has introduced the TB-NEO, a new modular sim racing handbrake built around precision, adjustability and the ability to evolve with your setup.

Designed particularly for rally, drifting and other handbrake-heavy disciplines, the TB-NEO gives drivers greater control over how their handbrake feels, responds and fits into their sim racing setup.

What Is the SIMAGIC TB-NEO?

The SIMAGIC TB-NEO is a highly adjustable load cell sim racing handbrake.

It is a 100kg load cell with 12-bit (4096-count) resolution, combined with SIMAGIC's Full-Range Adaptive Sensing Technology. The system measures your input throughout the pull, helping provide smooth, predictable and repeatable handbrake control.

Rather than simply registering whether the handbrake is on or off, this gives you more opportunity to control exactly how much handbrake you're applying.

Make It Feel the Way You Want

One of the TB-NEO's biggest features is its adjustability.

Using different springs and elastomers, you can change the resistance, travel and return feel of the handbrake. SIMAGIC provides configurations ranging from a light and smooth pull to a firm stop, dual-stage feel, and hydraulic-style setup.

This means you're not locked into one feeling. You can experiment with different configurations to find what works best for your driving style.

5 Angles. 2 Modes. Your Setup.

Every sim rig is different, so the TB-NEO offers five selectable installation angles and two mounting modes.

This gives you more freedom to position the handbrake around your cockpit, seating position, shifter and other hardware. Whether you prefer a different position for rally, drifting or general driving, you can adapt the TB-NEO around your setup rather than the other way around.

Built to Evolve With Your Sim Rig

The modular design also gives you options to upgrade the TB-NEO in the future.

Optional SIMAGIC P-HPR and P-HPR NEO haptic reactors can add telemetry-driven feedback through the handbrake lever. For drivers looking for a different feel, the TB-NEO is also compatible with optional P-HYS and P-HYSi hydraulic modules.

These upgrades are sold separately, but they mean the handbrake can evolve as your sim racing setup develops.

Fine-Tune It With SimPro Manager

The TB-NEO can also be customised through SIMAGIC SimPro Manager.

It can connect directly to a PC or compatible SIMAGIC wheelbase, making it easy to integrate into an existing SIMAGIC ecosystem.

Who Is the SIMAGIC TB-NEO For?

The TB-NEO is particularly suited to rally and drift sim racers, where precise handbrake control can play an important role in controlling the car.

It's also a strong option for anyone who values customisation, as you can configure the TB-NEO around how you want to drive.
