If you’ve been keeping up with our previous newsletter emails, you’ll know that we’ve been in the process of securing a new location for Race Anywhere. We’ve outgrown where we are today and it’s time to move.
Our plan is to move premises at the end of this week. This face demonstrates how much we are looking forward to the moving process itself -> 😬
We’re not moving far, only about 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometres) from our current location.
The new place will be much better for us. It has lots of things we are lacking in the current premises. We’ll have more space with a better layout more suitable to the type of work we do.
Things most of us consider mundane such as a dedicated kitchen space (something we don’t have today) will be a nice upgrade for us. Better toilet facilities and a dedicated staff room with some creature comforts such as central heating, will be a big improvement on what we have now.
The warehouse is more modern, with better insulation, so it should stay warmer for longer in the winter months.
We’ve also got much more space for customers to visit. In our current location, we don’t really have a good, dedicated area to host customers in comfort. This new showroom area will take a little longer to get into good shape, but when it is ready, we’ll make to invite you down for a visit!
Our priority will be a smooth transition of the warehouse operations. We want to make sure any disruption to order fulfilment and customer support is minimised. The team will be working through this week and into the weekend to ensure everything is ready for a full restart next week.
With this in mind, if you’re thinking of ordering in-stock items this week, please try and do it earlier rather than later. I’d encourage you to order today (28th May) or tomorrow (Wednesday 29th May).
We expect some small disruption as we get used to our new surroundings. Orders made on Thursday 30th May - Wednesday 5th June are likely to be delayed by a few days as we get settled in. If you place an order for in-stock items and there is likely to be a longer than normal delay (2 business day dispatch), we will let you know.
